The ABC Centre is a Very Sheltered Housing scheme for older people and was built in two stages. Alder Court was completed in 1997 and comprises of 30 1-bedroom flats. Beech Croft was built in 1985 and consists of 13 1-bedroom and 11 2-bedroom flats. Facilities include a restaurant, communal lounge, and hairdresser's salon. Further development has started and new facilities will include a community centre, IT room, and training facilities. Planned care and support services are provided with trained staff on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
