Our home in Glastonbury opened on 4 July 2000. The home has 64 rooms with en-suites and has facilities for caring for people who are living with a dementia. Glastonbury is a lovely area and the home enjoys views of both the town and the surrounding countryside.
Glastonbury Care Home has 64 rooms for people requiring nursing and dementia specific care, divided into 4 areas over 2 floors. Rooms have en-suite facilities central heating, TV and telephone sockets, and a nurse call system. Residents may bring small items of furniture and are actively encouraged to personalise their rooms with pictures, plants and ornaments. There are also communal lounge and dining areas where people can relax and enjoy activities.
Glastonbury Care Home has its own Activities Co-coordinator and regular entertainers are invited to the site.
