Equality, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EEDI)

Brunelcare is committed to doing everything we can to create environments where differences are celebrated, where all of our people feel supported, and where everyone is valued and respected.

Our Vision

Our Equity, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy sets out our EEDI Vision.

    We will:

  • Ensure diverse experiences and mindsets are represented on the Board and Executive Team with EEDI visible across Brunelcare.
  • Be a fair and inclusive employer, landlord and care provider, and monitor EEDI data to ensure fairness and equal treatment for all.
  • Enable EEDI to be embedded, so that those most likely to experience inequalities do not experience discrimination within our care or housing services.
  • Adopt care and housing EEDI standards, frameworks and partnerships, such as the Social Care Race Equality Standard, which directly impact on our work to tackle organisational inequalities.

Our accreditations

  • We have been an Investors in People employer for 20 years and retained our accreditation again in February 2024 following a full assessment and employee survey.
  • We have been a Disability Confident employer (previously known as Two Ticks) for the past 17 years
