Posted on 08 February 2018
We are celebrating the news that South Gloucestershire Council has named Brunelcare as the primary provider responsible for delivering care, support and reablement services within the following areas: Hanham, Kingswood, Longwell Green, Cadbury Heath, Warmley, Downend, Emersons Green, Wick and Marshfield.
In South Gloucestershire, Brunelcare is committed to the care and wellbeing of those living independently at home, supported by Brunelcare’s Community Services teams. We provide a variety of home care services with the flexibility to meet individual needs.
The award of this new contract helps enable us to build stronger relationships with health, community and voluntary agencies to more efficiently support those they care for. This home care service will also offer greater choice and control for the individual, focusing on giving a greater chance of maintaining independence at home and benefiting from ongoing continuity of care from our teams.
Michelle Mansfield, Director of Community Services for Brunelcare says:
“I am delighted that we have been awarded this contract and look forward to expanding our services serving residents within South Gloucestershire. We pride ourselves on delivering quality care, support and reabling services ensuring individuals can make the most of their lives as independently as possible in their own homes. We welcome new recruits and will give our full training and support to ensure that they succeed in delivering quality services.”
Brunelcare’s CEO, Kevin Fairman comments:
“In recent years, we have faced a significant amount of price competition from private providers in the domiciliary care market, so it's really pleasing to receive this vote of confidence in the quality of service our carers provide on a daily basis. We now look forward to expanding our presence in South Gloucestershire and working closely with the local authority to make a success of this new contract.”
