At Deerhurst Care Home, residents are welcomed as part of the family. The team works closely with each resident to understand their background and personal preferences so that care and support can be delivered in a way that maintains dignity and choice.

Deerhurst is recognised as a Level 1 Dementia Care Matters Butterfly Service® home. This national standard reflects the home’s commitment to person and relationship-focused dementia care, helping residents experience a positive daily quality of life.

The 66-bed home is divided into three houses, each offering colourful and stimulating environments designed to support people living with dementia.

Dementia Care at Robinson House

Robinson House provides specialist nursing and dementia care for older people in a supportive and comfortable setting.

The 70-bed home is arranged across two storeys, with Willow on the ground floor and Maple on the upper level. Both areas are designed to provide stimulating environments for people living with dementia while supporting those with nursing and clinical needs.

Many of the rooms and communal areas overlook private, secure gardens, creating peaceful outdoor spaces where residents can relax.

Facilities at Robinson House include:

  • Spa-style bathing facilities, hoists, and lift access
