Following a competitive tender process, Bristol City Council has selected and announced the winning bidders to design, build and then run two new dementia care facilities, providing essential specialist places for older people in Bristol.

Designed by expert and award-winning architects Penoyre & Prasad, Ashley House Plc will be building the new Stockwood dementia care home in Stockwood in south Bristol, providing 69 rooms, with Brunelcare running the care.

On Monday 14th March 2016 a Public Consultation took place, providing a forum and the opportunity to view and comment on the development plans.

Further details about the development, including detailed plans and drawings, will be available on our website soon.

The next stage is to finalise contracts and arrangements, prepare for planning application and then start building.
