We are delighted and proud to share that Brunelcare’s Deerhurst Care and Nursing Home has been awarded with an overall rating of ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), announced by the CQC on 27th January 2017.
Currently, only 1% of adult social care homes within the UK have obtained an overall CQC rating of ‘Outstanding’.
Lesley Hobbs, Manager of Deerhurst, says:
“I am really proud of everyone who lives and works here. It’s a team effort; all down to everyone who lives, works, visits and supports Deerhurst. The CQC report is a true, feeling-based reflection of everything we strive to achieve.”
Jan Little, Brunelcare’s Director of Care Homes, says:
“I am absolutely delighted for our employees at Deerhurst, to have achieved so much over the last few years and getting an outstanding in 4 of the 5 areas is just the icing on the cake for them and a testament to their hard work. I am extremely proud of all employees and volunteers who support the people who live at Deerhurst, they truly are an amazing team.”
