Clifton Pavilion (Bristol Zoo Gardens) was the setting last week for a special occasion – for Brunelcare to celebrate employee long service.
This is an annual event that we hold to recognise long service and learning and development success. This year, 24 employees collected an award for long service, celebrating a total of 300 years’ service!
There were also 10 employees who collected a learning and development award.
Amongst the awards were amazing 10 year, 15 year, 20 year recognitions and even 25 year and 30 year service awards.
Kevin Fairman, Brunelcare’s CEO says:
“These days, to be able to celebrate so many significant long service anniversaries is a great testament to the working culture our charity has maintained. This awards evening is our way of saying we are proud of our employees and to thank them. It’s great to celebrate the fact that Brunelcare has such a loyal and passionate workforce who have committed many years to providing housing, care and support to thousands of people, in the South West region we serve.”
All four of Brunelcare’s care homes have been rated ‘gold standard’ for their end of life care
Brunelcare’s Robinson House care home is the first care home in Bristol to be rated by Dementia Care Matter’s Household Model of Care Butterfly Accreditation scheme as a ‘Butterfly Home’
