Jo Ball, one of our carers based in Berrow, in our Somerset Community Services team, saved the life of one of her clients this month!

During one of Jo’s care calls her client collapsed. Jo acted quickly and had to perform CPR until the ambulance got there. They found out that the client had had a heart attack and what Jo did saved her life.

Her client continues to be cared for in her local hospital.

We are extremely proud of Jo, seen here with some flowers her team sent her.

This shows what a vital difference Community Carers can make in these situations, drawing on their skills and training.
