
Brunelcare partners with SSfH for procurement

We are pleased to announce that Brunelcare is joining Shared Services for Housing Ltd (SSfH). From 1 April 2026, SSfH will provide all procurement functions for the organisation and its customers.
From April 2026, the shared service will have four members, with Brunelcare joining existing members Wandle Housing Association, Gateway Housing Association, and Habinteg Housing Association.
The shared service provides a strategic approach to procurement, operating like an internal department for each member. While there will be a common approach to service delivery, the shared service will incorporate any local requirements members may have. This allows members to pool resources into a highly professional procurement team which can support all the organisations.
John Rew, Brunelcare’s Director of Finance and Digital Services, said: “High quality procurement is essential to ensure that Brunelcare complies with important and stringent procurement rules under the Procurement Act 2023. It is also key in obtaining high quality good value services that are provided for Brunelcare and our customers.
“We will be making sure that customers are involved in the procurement processes which are most important to them. Our experience of SSfH so far has been exceptional with excellent procurement knowledge combined with a desire to meet customer needs.”
