Meeting your short-term care and support needs
Our day centres provide full-time, focused respite care for a part or whole day, the length of your visit is based entirely around what you think you and your loved one need. A meal is also provided during the day.
Day care and respite care can be provided by our care homes. Respite care can be arranged on an individual basis, scheduled around the time frame needed and dependent on the availability in the home.
If you are a full-time carer for someone and need a break during the day, our respite at home service is designed to support those of you who are caring for a person living with a dementia or memory loss. We understand how important it is that you make time for your own needs so that you can continue in your caring role.

Help and Guidance
We know that finding out about the care and support you need can be daunting.
This guidance is designed to help answer your questions and to provide relevant information.
What is respite care?
We define this in two ways. You might care for someone 24/7 and need respite or are you simply looking for somewhere that offers specialist, short-term respite care for someone with nursing or dementia care needs. Take a look at our 'Respite care' page for more information.
We need a carer at home - do you provide them and how do we apply?
Brunelcare provides home care and support services in Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Somerset. Please view our Home care pages for full details.
