Colliers Gardens partners with Bristol Old Vic for ‘A Recipe for a Great Night Out’

We are excited to announce that our very own Colliers Gardens Extra Care Housing site has partnered with the Bristol Old Vic and the Made in Bristol young theatre makers to create an exhibition for a ‘great night out.’

The young theatre group visited Colliers Gardens in Autumn 2021 to discuss our customers' memories and stories, and what really makes a great night out! The group performed a piece of reminiscence theatre at Colliers in December and is now launching a new exhibition based on the visit.

The exhibition, titled A Recipe For A Great Night Out, celebrates all the ingredients needed for a great night at the theatre. From pre-show rituals to post-show misadventures, and everything in-between. It reflects on our customers' memories of what makes a great night out, and how this may have changed over time.

It will run from Spring until Autumn time at the Bristol Old Vic - Pit Passageway (Level 1).

Julie Walker, Colliers Gardens Centre Manager said: “It was great fun welcoming the Bristol Old Vic into Colliers, our customers had such fun relaying all their stories and to see them being put into an exhibition is going to be amazing! We really can’t wait to see it!”

To visit the exhibition, head down to the Exhibition Space in the Pit!
