Brunelcare is delighted to announce its latest proposals to transform the Lilac Close site in Southmead, creating modern, accessible homes for older people in the community.
A planning application will be submitted in January 2026 for a scheme that will replace five existing bungalows on the corner of Greystoke Avenue and Trowbridge Road with 20 accessible flats designed for people aged 55 and over. All homes will be available for social rent, helping to meet local housing needs.
The redevelopment will also feature beautiful new landscaping, including additional trees, wildlife-friendly planting, and welcoming spaces for residents to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Existing flats on the site will benefit from energy efficiency upgrades, ensuring they remain warm and sustainable for years to come.
If approved, work is expected to start later in 2026, marking an exciting step forward in Brunelcare’s commitment to providing high-quality, affordable housing for older people.
